there are no "complete" gasket kits available from any where. I found this site helpful http://dicky-pickles.org/d/motorcycles/ ... asket-kits .

I used the sirius gasket kit. Other than an issue I had with the head gasket being cut wrong it was a fine set. I ended up needing to buy an oil pump gasket and a seal set separately. Also, it was missing a lot of o-rings that would have been cheap to include and handy but no one includes these for some reason.

In a way there are and aren't "complete Gasket Sets"
As Six3jag, said, the complete gasket sets advertised do not include Seals.
You can buy a "complete Seal kit, but they don't include carburetor seals, alternator cover seals, etc....

There isn't a big master set that includes every gasket and seal on the bike....

This is true for most motorcycle seal kits, at least the ones I am familiar with.

The word complete usually means that it has the bottom case, cylinder, and head gaskets.

There are Top end gasket kits, that only have the head gasket and associated gaskets on the top of the engine.

And some gasket kits that only include the paper gaskets.

So read the ads and look at the pictures closely.

I couldn't tell you which of the 350 gasket kits is best... I have seen complaints and praise on all the brands out there.
The three I see the most are Vesrah, K & L, and Athena.

I have ordered paper gaskets only, from "The Gasket King" that were well made. But GK doesn't have the rubber or hard gaskets like the head gasket, only the paper gaskets for the side cases, etc....

I went with Vesrah the first time, and I haven't had a leak yet, so that's typically what I'm looking for on ebay. Whatever you use, make sure to do a good job cleaning and prepping the mating surfaces. This way, if something goes wrong, you can more accurately place the blame.

++1 ! I like Vesrah the best also.it seems as close to Original Equipment as you can get.
I purchased mine from "motorcycle solutions" off of Ebay the first time, but he prefers that I order from him direct now.

The Vesrah Gasket set says it's for 1970+ cb/cl350s
Can I use it on my 69 K1?
I only need it for the crankcase covers and the timing chain cover gasket, I'm not doing a full rebuild right now. As far as I know they are all the same.

The website for 4into1 motorcycle parts says
"the 1968-1969 CB/CL350's share many of the same gaskets, however, the alternator cover, exhaust gaskets, cam case and cylinder head gaskets have different part numbers."

I know they change part numbers sometimes for the same part, so I don't know if that means the parts are actually different or not.
I just want to buy a gasket set already. :(
