4-Way Female Bullet Connector - Group Buy?

All -

I needed some 4 way connectors and I inquired with the Chinese manufacturer and the minimum order quantity is 1000 pieces for $80 shipped to me. I have absolutely no need for that many connectors and I was wondering how many people here on the board would want some and how many. Also how much $ per lot of 10 would you be willing to pay?

I may end up buying the lot of 1000 and then offer them on eBay in groups of 10-20 for those people that are restoring their motorcycle and need these style connectors.

Thoughts?

You can put me down for 25 ea for $10.00 assuming this covers your shipping costs etc. This is the price for a 3 way connector at Vintage Connectors which seems to be about the same in material volume etc. If I'm off-base, just tell me.

I think that sounds fair - just trying to gauge interest and price point for possible sales on eBay.

Do you think lots of 10 or 20 make sense? Shipping should only be about $1.50 per order 10/20/25 its all the same.

Thanks for the feedback.

Lots of 10 & 20 make a lot of sense. Even if you just stick with 10, its easy enough to order 2 sets and keep shipping cost the same.

Keep in mind the standard for the CB 350's is the 3.5 mm bullet.

Most of what is out there is the 4 mm size.

The 4 mm makes a very loose connection that you have to crimp down but doesn't truly have proper contact.

Are you getting the insulators with these? Will you need a special crimp die to use these? To solve this problem on my 450 harness build, two wires were crimpted into a single male bullet connector and then used two double females on each wire. Honda used wire pigtails like this to make year to year changes to the wiring.
