Hey guys, I am doing a full engine rebuild on my 1972 Honda CB350. I am planning on rebuilding the engine to get a little more BHP out of the bike. Specifically, I am probably looking to bore out the pistons. Is this something I should do myself with a kit or should I take it to someone (SF Bay Area, any ideas)? Or maybe the top end from a cb400 550 etc. I'm not sure maybe even heads from one of these bikes. I'm not sure if the heads will fit my cb350 with bigger valves. Same size heads, bigger valves. Anything you guys have helps!

CNC is not required to bore a engine cylinder. The shop I use has a "home made" boring machine they claim can bore any engine block. The also have a machine to hone the cylinder to the final size and surface finish. They call it a sizer. It is basically a drill press in a large container to catch the lubricant. It uses a parallel hone. They do very nice work.
