Hi peeps, I was hoping you might be able to help, I've got a Honda Rebel 125 1999 German Import, or rather a box of parts. That I've slowly been refurbishing for the rebuild.
The carb I think is too damaged to use I don't know what on earth has happened to it. It looks like it's been levered off the engine at some point. I can find almost zero info on it. Only 1 or 2 small bits of info.
QUESTIONS:
- It's a Keihin PDA1L series. Does anyone have any info on what would be the equivalent if i bought a new modern version?? It's 22mm outer, 18mm at the venturi.
- how are carb measurements stated on listings?? is it the venturi measurement or the outer intake measurement??
- someone stated somewhere i'd read that the Honda Rebel 125's were an 18mm carb and they'd actually improved the performance by going upto a 22mm carb and upping the jetting. But from what i can tell they always had a 22m?!
