Well, I knew this was going to be a challenge. The coils, condenser and contact breaker wires are not making sense. Can someone tell me what goes where? If you could explain it by telling what plugs into what I would appreciate it. I have the little manual diagram, but it isn't making sense to me.

The black/white wires from the coil plug into the black/white wire from the harness.
Blue (and yellow) from coils have blue (and yellow) from points and condensor plug into them.

That's all there is to it.
The black/white wire should be hot any time the ignition key and kill switch are ON.

The wiring depends on which CB450 you have, but the wires that attach at the coils will be black/white for two coil bikes and black for the 360º crank models which have only one double-secondary coil. Turn on the key switch and the handlebar cutoff switch (U.S. models), check for voltage at the coil end before connecting. Blue & yellow wires go to the condenser and breakers, front breaker=#1 cyl., green for the 360º crank model, only one breaker.
