Hi everybody . I'm thinking of buying a windshield..
wich one is best fitted for the cb 450 k ?
Now i have the standard handlebars and sooner or later i'm going to switch to the low rise one.
i'm afraid it will be difficult to reach the in-lamp commutator..
any suggestions ?
Thank you in advance

I'm not a windshield guy but there are many aftermarket universal windshields out there - but most are designed to clamp on the handlebars, so changing to lower bars might make things more difficult for that. Not sure what you are referencing when you say "in-lamp commutator" - pictures always help

I wish posting a picture still meant I could tell what you're talking about.

Maybe if I could see the picture, but all I get is 'forbidden'. In any case, a commutator is a switching device, usually associated with DC wound motors. Maybe he means the knob for the steering damper?

Ahh... it's just a switch. The Forbidden messages are due to website issues during a transition, they're working on it

bike looks nice, lots of patina... looks like the handlebars have been welded in the middle. Wonder if someone decided to narrow them?

That looks good, is the 2-point mounting sufficient out in the wind?

yes i think it's sufficient and i feel much less wind on my chest when running.
But i usually don't use to keep high speeds for long time..
