Does anyone have a CL175 with original tool kit? Looking for a list of what tools are in the kit so I can put one together. Handy to have. I'll use better quality tools than the (assuming) cheesy originals.

They weren't as bad as you think.... Saved my bacon many times.....

10. Tool bag.....89101-216-000
11. Wrench, tappet adjusting.....89201-200-000 (fits the "square" on the tappet bolt)
12. Wrench, axle...89202-273-000
13. Spanner, 9mm....89203-200-000
14. Spanner, pin, 37mm.... 89204-268-000 (shock adjustment)
15. Wrench, spark plug....89216-264-000
16. Gauge, tappet clearance adjusting....89231-216-000 (.002"/.05mm feeler gauge)
20. Spanner double head, 10X14...99001-10140
21. Spanner, double head, 17X19...99001-17190
22. Pliers, slip-joint....99002-15000
23, 24, 25, #2 Phillips, #3 Phillips, and 5/16 wide straight...driver bits
26. Driver handle

I'd add needle-nose pliers, an 8" cresent wrench, a roll of electrical tape, a shop rag,
and a small, bright flashlight to that...... place an extra master link on your key-ring...
and carry a pocket knife...Preferably a "Swiss Army" knife....
........You are now "old school" equipped...... :D :D :D Steve

Steve forgot the most important tools of all, your cell phone and a AAA+ recreational vehicle card. ;)

If you NEED to have your cell, you aren't enjoying the ride.....
I'm not sure about the card you refer to....
I just carry cash....Hasn't failed me yet!...... This is OLD school!

Hey thanks, that's a perfect list. Looks like the only semi-difficult bits might be the axle wrench and shock adjusting spanner. I have a lot of the other tools as 'Extras' - but if they say "Yamaha" on them will the CL reject them?

Yes, the CL will jump up and scream "No yammie tools in my box"
I think I have a whole yammie tool kit that you can have for $20.00 shipped.

Steve, I have a BlackBerry and can't leave home without it. They do not call them crackberries for nothing.
AAA plus recreational vehicles card in my wallet is just another bill for me since I have a cell phone and a Tacoma but, I also have full OEM tool pouches on my motorcycles. {and FSMs & owners manuals for each bike too.}

Ray, I do have a cell phone (but often forget it) and am lucky I can dial a call on it...
My daughter set the ringtone (which I hate), but I haven't figured out how to change it back
If I miss a call, I just hit send, send....
If an interveening call came in, the number and messages are lost forever....
(there must be zillions of them floating out there in limbo, awaiting my hearing them, which will never happen....)

Thanks for the offer - but I think I have most of a Yammie kit here if I just find all the pieces - thus the question about rejection....
