for a 1971 cb175? I have the clutch apart and the disks measure .122, haynes manual says .118, they look new

I don't know the spec for the 175, but it could easily be another example of inaccurate specs from a non-FSM like Haynes or Clymer. Pretty sure someone here will have a copy of the FSM if you look here
