On my CM400 they go behind the engine on the right side, pass through a ring on the frame and finish just below the engine...I guess it's to avoid spilling gasoline on the actual bike...but in general I believe the rule is away from sensitive components and as low as possible?
On the 175, they emerge in roughly the same place as the engine breather hose, and battery breather hose, if fitted. Behind the engine, in front of but lower than the swing arm pivot.
Just in the right place to dump onto the rear tyre ….
