I bought a box of miscellaneous Honda bike parts and this tank was in there.. What's it from?

Looks like a CL350 tank to me.

Not a CL350 Tank. Petcock is on the wrong side.

CL350s never had a vacuum petcock either, IIRC

The 350s also had crossover tube because of the back bone.
The 360 and 400 series didn't, but they didn't have vacuum petcock either.

I knew someone would recognize the ridge in the sides of the top of the tank - too unique.

I was thinking Suzuki, and then got TJD's post. Right on. Been a long time since I had my T500 Titan. Too bad you do not have the rest of the bike.

Well, for one thing, I don't recall many mid-sized Honda street bikes back then with a bolt in the rear tank mount - most were rubber-strap retained, and that ridge in the top on each side just wasn't familiar

I couldn't figure it out and wouldn't have guessed the T500, nice one TJD. Fun game though, I like the 'what part is this from' type posts. We need to make it a weekly game
