That appears to be just the airbox covers....Without the filter elements in them......

Do the cl350 and db350 use the same airboxes? There is a short post on reddit that is inconclusive to this. Im trying to decide why it would matter because the plastics are the same and completely cover the air boxes dont they?

As for the plastics, they are not the same. CL's left side plastic cover is different than a CB's. Its a different shape in order for the exhaust to clear. As far as the metal boxes behind the plastics, they are the same.

Thanks, that actually makes more sense. Are there different styles of airboxes? Im looking at these now as they are less rusty but the look different then the ones in the OP at the top. It doesnt have that nozzle thing. Does it matter which style I get?

As for the different styles, I believe the airboxes were slightly different for different years. My 73 has this style:

The "nozzle thing" is actually part of the air filter not part of the air filter housing.

I dont mean the rubber part, I mean the back part (air intake). One has more of a nozzle that points down and the other is just more of an open hole. So if Mine is a 73 I should get thes like you pointed out or doe sit matter?

yes, they are different on other years. Never tried putting a different year on, I was missing one when I bought the bike and just matched up the one that was on the bike at the time, but during my search I encountered the same questions you are asking. That is why I just made sure that I bought a 73. Somebody else on the forum might know more info as if they are interchangeable from 68 to 73.
