I am looking for a pair of side cover bolts for a CB450 (or CL). I am mainly looking for the long part that goes through the air filter, but I could use the small screws that goes on the end as well. (See the attached pic) I have a 72 CL450 K5. I'm not sure if the bolts for a K1-K2 will work or not. I am running pod filters so I just need them to hold the side covers in place. I am looking to pay about $10 plus shipping for the bolts, $15 if you have the screws too. I can get a friend to make me something to do the same thing for $20. I have been watching ebay for awhile and they never seem to show up. One was posted today, but it is overpriced, and I need two.

Thanks.

Hmm. Makes me wonder what's going on with my bike then.. Someone here had a post about that problem once before. I remember measuring my bolt for them?? Maybe it's because it's a CL and mine is a CB450 K7? One is a few MM's longer than the other.

Anyone else notice this?? :?:

GB...Mine uses two different parts....One with a short "hexed" section, the other longer..... (Just in case it's a CB vs CL difference, Mine is a CB...K6....) Steve

I would buy two stainless 6mm "button-head" allen bolts in the correct lengths....., Two SS washers and one nut for each side....Bolt through one washer, through the side panel, other washer and nut (just "snugged") ... This would make them "captive" with the sidepanel....... Probably only cost about $2 for the works..... Steve
