My '99 Nighthawk- bought it about 10 weeks ago;it had been sitting in a carport for over a decade. I was surprised that the engine actually ran fairly well w/just a basic service and tune. Put the body work back on today after I sprayed it w/single stage Urethane Pearl.

Nick that looks great!
Please post info on which paint products you used.
What's your opinion, are the decals sized to your liking? They look good to me.

Cheers!

Im OK w/the decals- just lightly taped on now while I determine the exact placement- they may be a tad bigger than the stockers, but again, I liked the VIntage color/design. Not sure but I may forgo any side cover stickers. Paint was sourced at Summit- the big mail order car parts place in Atl- its Sum White Pearl Single Stage. I sprayed it over gray primer, but white would make it more of a Pearl- and lighter of course. Could probably do two bikes w/a QUART (plus the activator).
