what is the consensus on 450 valve seals? in a full Athena gasket kit they don't appear to be included. the old ones are surprisingly flexible in the 500t heads I have off a low miler. my buddy has rebuilt and never bothered to redo them, no problem.
Is there an inexpensive top end gasket kit with them?

The Vesrah kits generally include valve seals.
If they're not too much trouble to get, you might as well do it - you're going to so much trouble already, it's not much more.
If you can't find them, then it is what it is....

Be advised that there have been many comments from folks regarding the poor quality of Vesrah gasket kits.

i have used Vesrah kits but the thing i hate about them is the seals for the valves were too small it seems. At least it looked as though they were. Terry Naughtin put some 5mm valves in the head i have and it looks as though the valve seals would fit those more likely than the stock valves.
