Let's stick with the question.
Obviously bulbs, battery and starter. You may be able to keep the stator by changing the regulator unit to a 12v, not sure. If I understand correctly the 81 CM200 is 12V and the parts are interchangeable. 66Sprint knows more about this.
i have a 1980 cm200 that i kept 6 volt, i could'nt find a good enough reason to convert it. i made my own wiring harness removed everything i didnt need and bought a lithium battery and the lights are nice and bright. also it was a bit cheaper than buying all the parts to convert to 12v.
