Of all the pieces of the rebuild of the CB-250 K4, one part has eluded me since the start almost 2 years ago. Grommet "80102-292-670" appears at least to me, to be unobtainable. I have tried most of the famous spares sites from David Silver Spares, Consolidated Motor Spares, Common Motor to Honda themselves even. I've phoned ex-wreckers and Honda mechanics asking if they'd ever wrecked and kept any CB-250/CB-350 parts across their years. I've crawled through the bowls of strangers sheds and found many interesting bits of paraphernalia, few being at all related to motorcycles, none being the part I need. Lately I've even tried looking online and in stores for grommets that even closely fit to do the job, and ended up buying a pair that somewhat fitted the frame and the bolt running through it. To no avail though, its still a poor fit. I'm wondering if any of you fella's on here might be able to point me in a direction I might be able to find a pair (or even one) of these grommets.

Included a technical drawing of the grommet I whipped up in FreeCAD.

If anyone needs a grommet for their old Honda I suggest going to a hardware store (like Ace) that has a rack of boxes of miscellaneous hardware parts by the Hillman company. I needed some grommets for the seat assembly of a ‘76 360 and Hillman/Ace had grommets that appeared to be identical. Less than $1 each. If you need metric size nuts and bolts it’s also great place to check.
