When I bought my CB350 recently the right side tach cover was missing off the bike, but the seller believed he had one for it, just had to look around. I went back today to pick it up but it turns out the cover wasn't the correct one, it was a finned points cover instead that looked to be for a 360. However, he said he also found a few extra parts that I could have. He originally bought them for a 360 he was working on but since sold that bike and the parts were just taking up space.

This was very generous of him, he really seemed genuinely happy to be able to pass them on to me...very nice guy.

When I got the box home, I was pleasantly surprised. There were a few brand new parts not even opened: Petcock, brake shoes, throttle cable, spark plugs, spark plug caps, condenser, one set of points. Plus some used stuff like, wheel spokes, extra tachometer, brake lever, two battery covers, throttle side handlebar control with the two cables, throttle tube, tank rubbers and a load of extra nuts and bolts.

Biggest thing is the petcock, since its at least $60 to buy new. The petcock, throttle cable, spark plug stuff and the points is all stuff I would have needed to buy anyway, so I'm easily saving over $100. That'll pay for the bars I want, lol

The part number on the condenser (i.e. 30280-371-000) says its for a GL1000, is this fine to work with the 350? I'm clueless when it comes to electrical stuff.

The spokes were in a bag with a part number of 97311-6923310 but I couldn't find any info on them. There is less than 20 there anyway, so its not a complete set. I'll keep them as spares as long as they fit my 350.

I'm not sure if those battery covers are the same as used on the 450 or not, but if anyone knows then I'd LOVE to know for sure. That's is, IF you'd part with one. I'd still like to have one for my 450. I wouldn't even need the rubber strap, as I already bought one of those as NOS.

GB, I'm not sure if they are the same as on the 450, but if you find they are you're more than welcome to one of them. The 350 I bought never came with a cover so I'll need one of them, but you can gladly have the other one. There isn't any type of number stamped on it, so I don't know. Here are a couple of close-up pics. If you want it just PM me your mailing address and I'll get it off to you.

So does this mean that it's not usable on the 350? Are condensers specific to the application?

Condensors are specific in that their mounting bracketry is designed to hold them on a specific bike, in a specific location.... As far as electrically equivalent, I couldn't tell you.... I would however bet that they would work fine if provided a secure mount and good ground.... The 350/450/GL points set-ups were so similar, a slightly modified mounting plate is all that is necessary to use the GL electronic ignitions on the 350 or 450.....JMHO...... Steve
