Mike... Why would you want "finger adjustable" ones?.... Once they are set, you don't need and shouldn't be changing them...
Idle SPEED screws I could understand, idle MIXTURE not so much.....

So...You would rather replace the parts (at $20+ each) than buy and use the correct tool?......

Sorry, I just don't understand the logic.....

If you find some be sure that the tip and taper of the screw exactly matches the old one or you'll have problems no one can help diagnose

Perhaps I did not explain myself.... I want to be able to adjust the idle mixture with my thumb and forefinger, rather than try and maneuver a screwdriver upside down to do so. Sufficiently understandable? I actually got the idea to use the "limiting type" caps, but with a few knurls to enable a better grip. I am thinking of soldering a cap to the top....

Maybe you can use a screw driver, but at my age with failing eyesight, thumb screws would be nice.

Or maybe when you visit Vancouver you can drop over and do them for me.

Well, that does explain it....The correct screwdriver is bevel gear driven at a 90 degree angle and long enough so you hold it horizontally, and can adjust both carbs from one side.....

Well I came up with a solution that costs less than 30 cents to modify the mixture screws. A pair of acorn nuts, soldered onto the knurled ends of the mixture screws. Now I can reach down and turn them in or out without having to get off the bike... Modifications are so inexpensive I can do them on all bikes when I clean carbs.....

I guess I'm confused here but why would you need to adjust the mixture while sitting on the bike? The only time I need to adjust it after setting it up is when I'm running over 5-6000 ft. for any length of time (days).

Well... Before I set the mixture screws, I take the bike out for a spin. That way it assures me the bike is up to temp. I just find it easy to do while on the bike when i stop for a light. Yes I could also easily do it when off the bike, with my fingers rather than any sort of screwdriver. I suppose I could carry a 90 degree weird screwdriver, but it is not anywhere near as easy to do. I prefer to just twist with my fingers. My eyesight is not anything like it was 40 years ago. As I get on in years it will not get any better, so if I can tune the mixture with my thumb and forefinger instead of a screwdriver, and t only costs 30 cents, I think that is a win. However if you are ever near Vancouver BC, you could drop by and see if I have bikes that need a tune, so you could help me.... Remember to bring your special tool....lol

My "special" screwdriver is @1-1/4" long.
My procedure for mixture is after sync is done to ride @5 miles, set each carb for highest idle, then reset again, ride 5 miles and check.
I may just have to stop by later this year, late summer/early fall.

Of course I have plenty of screwdrivers for all carb tasks including custom made for the pilot jets. What I personally need is a way to eliminate attempting to put a screwdriver into a slot. With my failing vision it takes more than one or two attempts to even get the driver into the slot, or Phillips head. I imagine you have the eyes of a 30 sumthin. My eyes are the eyes of a 60 sumthin.... With Macular Degeneration. But please do drop by.....
