I am new to HondaTwins and I have a 1979 CM400T with 8000 miles and it’s basically all stock. I am trying to lube the Throttle cable (the easy way?) by taking off the handlegrips and squirting lube down the cable from one end. I’ve tried to find videos doing this but to little success. I took off one screw on the clamp that keeps the handle grip and throttle on the bar but the other seems to be terrible stuck as neither a screwdriver or drill on max torque could get it to budge without it kind of stripping I don’t want to go any further but can anyone help? Are there other screws? Is the right way to take it off?

Yes. That other screw needs to come out to lift the top half enough to access the cables. I used a hand impact screwdriver and they both came loose.

That may not be the right screw. I think they were always phillips heads.
That may even be some sort of lag bolt or self-tapping screw.
