Bill, Yep, That bike (one like it) WAS my inspiration.... I'd KILL for one of those tanks! (Which BTW looks exactly the same shape as the CR71 ALLOY tank...... Yeah, I'll just find one of THOSE in perfect shape .... :roll: NOT!)...... OK... enough dreaming and back to my fork modifications to run the larger drum......

Looks like a CB92 Bentley Super Sport 125 with cafe seat and (maybe ??) modified rubber tank thing.
No wait !! It's a 1961-62 CB92R Benly S.S. Racer 125

The fuel tank on the blue CD-175 is the one I wanted to use to make my CB175 look like a "mini K1 450"....Looks like the "Euro" CD models beat me to it......Put US sidepanels and chrome fenders on that thing, and there you are....
Never saw the CD200's...Probably just "Euro" and Canada models.......However, they have what appears to be the same platform as a CM 200... The "chopper-look" CM just had a more "peanut" tank and bare forks..... (adapted to the market)..... Engine appears identical...So does the seat....
The Black and "baby-blue " bikes have an uncanny resemblance to the WWII German single that was "captured" at wars end and remanufactured in the US and Britian.... Here it evolved into the Harley "Hummer" and in the UK was known as the BSA "Bantom"....Typically, the parts wouldn't interchange because the bikes were "mirror images" so the shifting and brakes ended up on the "normal" side for the markets.... The Honda looks like a cloned "Bantom"(right down to the "Brit" kneepads)....With the addition of a rear suspension!....I'm guessing about a 1954/55 model.....

Hi all,
Steve (aka 66Sprint) stopped over this evening and introduce himself to me and we shot the breeze for a while. I managed to get a pic of him and figured I'd throw it up on here so you guys would know just exactly who the two UGLIEST guys in Roanoke,VA. are! I'm the guy standing.
Was a pleasure meeting him and just wanted to thank him for doing that!
