When I push my starter button...or connect a starter switch..I here the starter motor spin..but its not engaging and spinning the engine...What could be wrong? will it hurt anything to still ride it by kickstart?

did this about 3 weeks ago on my 72 cl350 http://www.motorcyclesolutionsllc.com/s ... StoreFront guys name is john strawbridge call him up 419 309 2297 you will need 3 new caps, 3 new springs and 3 new rollers. you will also need a flywheel puller bolt and a tube of loctite blue. i had it apart and back together in 15 min.

Those parts can still be had from any Honda dealer.

mine needed the three screws replaced. it cut them off between the clutch and flywheel.

had the same problem on my 71 cb350. Turns out the starter chain wasn't connected when I split the left side case. after reconnecting the chain, no more problems. Took me 15 mins to do (plus 1 hour to get the stripped engine screws out!) l Good luck.
