Hi all - new to the list and to Honda twins...got a 1975 cb360t that was laid up for 25 years that I am bringing back from the dead. Got most of it sorted out and was testing a problem with the carbs, hit the starter button and it turned over but when I released the starter button, starter kept going. I hit the kill switch and starter kept running until i turned off the key. Turned the key to on position and starter engaged immediately. My thought is that the contact in the starter button is stuck. Any thought on what else it might be? Thanks.

Either that, or the solenoid is stuck....I'd start with the button...these were often problematic.... Any grounding going on in there will roll the starter....I've seen the small insulating (bakelite) panel crack and allow it to ground....
