Does anyone have a good source for steel sprockets for the 450's...
I am looking for a stock 15/35 set-up to go with my new chain....
Any thoughts on steel vs. alum. other than the alum. being lighter and wearing faster?

My thought is that steel is preferable for sprockets.
But I could be full of it.....

Why not go to a 17-tooth on the front like a lot of us do - you'll like the results, promise.......

Yeah I like the idea of steel too.
As far as jumping up to a 17 front. I imagine the ride is much nicer at speed, but do you lose dead stop acceleration? I don't do much highway riding, lots of bombing around town tho...

450's have gruntage to spare.
Unless you regularly pull stumps or sopmething, you won't have any complaints......

If you're worried about it, try a 16 first, work your way up.
But I've never heard anyone complain about it.....
