Has anyone replaced the oil seal on the speedo drive? I have found 2 part numbers: 90752-250-000 and 90752-253-000. The "250" for early frame numbers I think. Neither of these fits my Dream. I have 3, all are the same and all are around frame numbers CA78-1013261. The speedo drive is the same for all 3. The oil seal has a number embossed on it: TC 34 48 6.5 Y1. Any ideas?

Yes that appears to be the size. Here is a picture of the drive with the seal installed. The inner part of the seal seals around the shaft on the hub that turns the speedo drive. The part shown on top is the incorrect seal. IMG_1515.JPG

I have that exact seal (34 x 48 x 6.5) in my CB 77 speedo drive..... I got a replacement seal (on/at/through/from) Amazon, although it was very pricey at $22........

Note that this is primarily a dust seal (although it does retain grease) and a slightly imperfect example would likely suffice for an occasionally ridden/short distance bike.......

Having no idea as to your location, or intended bike usage, know that you CAN and may phone me to discuss....540-525-5199....Steve
