Can anyone please let me know what the spark plug gaps for the 1984 CB450 Nighthawk should be set at? I can’t find the manufacturer manual online, for some reason I can only find info for the 82, 83 and 85. It appears the manual for the 84 does not exist. I’ll be putting in NGK DPR8EA-9 plugs.

Mo, your bike should have a label, stuck to underside of the seat, or stuck inside left or right side cover, with tune up specs including: spark plug type and gap, valve adjustment specs, ect, unless Canada models are different than US and Calif. models. A photo helps all of us ID your bike, from many different models, that can be hard to picture in your mind. If I recall that was a nice looking model, show us. Good Luck, HondaJohn.

Hi John,

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. I don’t recall seeing any labels on the inside of covers or the bottom of the seat but I will double check when I’m down at the garage again on the weekend and will report back to you. Hopefully the Canadian models don’t differ in that sense. Here are some photos. Thanks.
