Hi.

My CB160 kept blowing fuses, and finding the problem was driving us crazy. My dad (who knows electrical stuff) finally found the problem by isolating all the wires and testing them individually. the problem was a stamped metal hold down clamp inside the dimmer switch. This has sharp edges and vibration wore through the wires causing a short to ground. We fixed it by taking the switch apart, unsoldering the wires, putting two layers of heat shrink on the wires, smoothing the edges of the clamp, then putting everything back together. It works great now. I don't think this is unique to the CB160, and other bikes may also have this problem.

I hope this helps. Everyone has always been so helpful here I wanted to give something back.

Thanks, Berkhan
