I had been running stock 16/42 sprockets on my SL350-K1. It runs about 6K at near 60mph. Swapped from a 16 tooth front sprocket to a 14 over the weekend and tested it yesterday. Never hit 50 mph at 6K and didn't want to push it more. BEst news was the stock chain did not have to have links removed.

Doing this conversion for an upcoming trip to the Rockies. Slow speed, altitude and rocks...

JUST and FYI for an easy upgrade for offroad.

Success! The 14t was perfect for Colorado mountains. Loved the no bog steep ascents at better rpms and the extra engine braking it offered. Best upgrade ever.
