I am restoring a 1966 Honda CB450. I have several sets of sidecovers that came with the bike. One set has an indent about (1/2 inch by 3 inches) for a 450 warning sticker. The other set has the same indent but has two holes in the indent for something? A badge? Are any of these correct for the bike. I have also seen sidecovers that have no indent -smooth. thanks Jim

Most I have seen have the indent for the sticker. I have not seen any K0 450 side covers with badges. Maybe the holes were drilled by an owner in the past? There was a discussion on here a few months ago that mentioned the smooth side covers with no indent. That style may have been very early (1965) 450 covers, possibly from the Japanese domestic market.

12oz--Thanks for the information. Yes, maybe the owner drilled the holes-thats what I think, he did a very good uniform job thank you-- Jim.
