Hey all,

I just had some work done to my stock seat pan ('71 CB350 K3), straightened it, spot welded a few small cracks, and re-upholstered. Upon getting the seat back to the bike I've found that the frame doesn't accept the newly straightened pan's hinges, which upon reflection, makes sense since the hinges are not in the places they once were.

My question to you guys is whether or not there is any method to the process of getting those re-aligned so that the hinges will line up correctly and the seat will close properly. I figured I could just start whacking them with a hammer to make adjustments and find a sweet spot through trial and error, but wanted to see if there was a proper way to do this that reduced the guesswork.

Thanks in advance.
