I put my Honda CM-200 Twin Star away last November. I could not find my battery tender, so went in storage as is. Did not drain tank either like I was suppose to perform. I moved and neglected my bike, but never sat outside.

Temperature in MI went to 58F yesterday. That is a huge heat wave for this state in winter.

I pushed the electric start button after applying full choke. The bike started immediately like it was ran yesterday. Put a few hours riding & battery is likely fully charged. I sure missed riding my motorcycle during the winter.

Yup, we had a little heatwave as well yesterday and I was tempted, although against the law until mid march.
I am jealous of you, but very happy for you,lol

Wait... it's against the law to ride a bike in Montreal during the winter?

Yes it is, from Nov 15th to March 15th.
This si due to the snow tire law which is in effect during this time.

The bike was stored in a heated garage for 30 years. The original owner drained the gas tank. It started right up 30 years later- go figure.
