Way too much gold for my taste on that bike as I don't really like gold much as a colour anyhow.

All the old Honda side covers I have had were as brittle as glass. I am thinking of leaving the covers off and rerouting the mikunis through stock airbokes

I wouldn't do the tail light either. I like the on I already have

Yeah going back to the stock airboxes might be your best bet I think.
