Restoring my 74' CB 450 K7 and would like to replace the turns signals F/R due to stems and body of signal really pitted. Don't mind using "aftermarket" signals if they basically look similar. Do you guys have a good source without breaking the bank ?
I have used 4 into 1 out of San Fran for a variety of aftermarket signals. They are inexpensive and sold as pairs, quads and singles with dual or single filament bulbs depending on the style. They are not close to OEM as far as build quality, yet they work well and look fresh compared to 40 year old ones.
EBay is hit and miss as far as getting a decent set of OEM used ones and usually unrealistic these days on pricing.
They are available in dual or single filament bulbs from suppliers. Rears are only single filament as they are a running light only while the fronts are normally duals, as they have the signal filament plus the second running light filament in each bulb. Those don't show which they are wiring wise and would be good to check with the seller first.
If those are dual filament then you could use for both F/R and you could just wire the running light section on the rear if the vendor doesn't offer a choice.
