on what? might be able to loosen/remove the shocks to let wheel drop below muffler or raise it above them

Put it on the center stand, remove chain guard.... Take both shock bottom bolts out and pivot shocks back out of way.... Put a block under the wheel to lift it to access axle and remove chain master-link....Etc.... Drop wheel and roll out

Or, you can pull one muffler (with all that involves)....Whichever is easiest for you....

This is why a shop gets so much $ to change a rear tire... It's a PITA.....

Honda must have been big into removing exhaust systems back in the day. You have to jump through the hoops you just mentioned on the CB or remove the whole exhaust system to pull the left side air cleaner. Pick your poison. :)

Got the front and rear wheels off. I used the remove the shocks method vs. the muffler. New tires going on this week! Brakes look real good and the wheel bearings are good.

Pleasantly surprised how easily all the fasteners come off. I expected more of a struggle being 37 years old.

remove swing arm, cut out rear end of slot and fit CB360 adjusters.
Then all you need to do is loosen axle, push wheel forwards, slip chain off sprocket, disconnect rear brake torque arm and slide everything straight back, don't even need to remove axle from hub.
I think some of the last CB350s had open slot on axle?
