I recently started rebuilding a 71 CL350 basket case. After gathering the parts for the rear wheel I found that I'm missing the Rear Wheel Hub Plug (part #91303333000). I've searched but can't seem to find the part anywhere. Has anyone else run into this problem and maybe come up with a workaround? Tried running without the hub plug? I would greatly appreciate any suggestions you might have. Thanks

I'm not personally familiar with the part but here are a couple of search results, one of which looks different than the other but they say they have it

Thanks. I have a note in to the ebay guy to see if it's the right part. The one in the picture looks like an o-ring rather than the plug. The other site is out of stock :(

Yeah, I saw that cmsnl.com didn't have it and it's discontinued - so much of our stuff is already that way. The picture there wasn't very clear but certainly didn't look like an o-ring

If you have a dremel then you can get a larger rubber plug from the hardware store and cut it a bit bigger than the hole, then cut a channel in the middle to keep it from falling in or out.
