Maybe I'm just an Olde Farte (well, no maybe, I am), but....

I sure wish folks would just use their real names here.
Personally, I think the nickname thing is sort of high-schoolish.
Just first names would be fine with me - makes it seem like I'm talking to a real person.

My username on a couple forums is my initials - KDN. Then, I just went right for kirkn. It DOES get cumbersome talking to "ONEBADCB200" or something....

But, even then, I just sign my posts:

Sorry Bill....Both my uncle and I were named Rex after either a German Shepard or a Palomino and never really knew which. I've been Blue for quite some time a nickname that has a lot to do with being a Biker and nothing to do with forums or the internet. Liked the music btw. Best ~ Blue
