Can’t seem to get a straight answer on this. Is the highlighted wire power in to the solenoids? Power out? Or should it be grounded? I’m not running a kill switch on the bike so just joined the two wires together and cappped then off. Any help is greatly appreciated.

well, if you're talking about the one solenoid on the bike - the one for the starter - the power input for the coil to make the solenoid operate is black, the switched power from the main harness that is live when the key is on. Bigger pictures that would zoom might help with the "highlighted" area you tried to show. The ignition kill switch has nothing to do with the starter solenoid circuit on the 350, they are separate

Your "Yellow Highlighted" wire is switched battery positive power to/for THE IGNITION COILS.......
IF (or not) you choose to have a "kill switch" in that circuit, it makes (run) or breaks (kill/off) the connection between the bike's Black wires (switched battery+) and the Black with White stripe wire (coils power "feed").....
Since you have "made" that connection permanent, your primary means to shut off the engine is the ignition (key) switch...

The solenoid is not involved here.....
