I am looking to restore a 1984 Vt500 Ascot and am on the hunt for a power chamber. It seems they have a tendency to rust out on the left back corner where the center stand rests against it. I am told that a Hawk or a Shadow of the same time period might be a compatible swap. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

The part number shows it's a 1983/84 part specifically for the VT500FT Ascot. Completely different than the one for the SOHC 400/450
