Piston rings on 1985 CB450SC Nighthawk

I recently got a '85 CB450SC Nighthawk and im looking to replace the piston rings but unfortunately im unable to find a option that isnt overpriced or from China. Im wondering if the piston rings of a 650 Nighthawk would fit the piston of a 450 Nighthawk piston head?

What do you consider over priced ?
Over a $100 for a set of piston rings.
That's the going rate these days. I see on eBay OEM set for one piston @ $82 Canadian. Google the part number, standard size ring set is 13011-ML4-611. Or put that number in an eBay search . . .

These folks are in Canada and show a complete set (two ring sets) for your 450. I have used a set of their KZ750 pistons and rings in my flat track bike with no issues. Judging be the price its not OEM Honda but the price is certainly attractive . . Honda CB450 CM450 Piston Ring Set x2 1982 1984 1985 1986 1987 1988 CMX – Disaster Motors
Answering your original question the rings from a 650 Nighthawk will not fit your 450.Your bike has a 75.8mm bore. The early SOHC 650 NH has a 59.8mm bore while the later DOHC versions has a 60mm bore so both are smaller by a rather large margin . . .

Are you just replacing the rings? I try to rebore and replace pistons and rings. If you have a low compression problem or smoking out the pipes after the engine is warmed up rings are hardly worth the tuime and money in my experience. But then I tend to charge a lot and guarantee the problem is fixed. I have driven a 400 for several years with probably worn out or partially siezed rings and the main thing it did was irritate anyone behind me and use some oil.
