I have a '69 CB350. When I bought it the petcock had a short length of fuel line coming off one of its exit ports and ending at a small bolt screwed into the end of the hose. But I've seen photos of other people's bikes where each petcock exit went directly to one of the carburetors. I'm wondering why their was a bolt in mine and what the difference is? Which way is correct? vented.jpg

Just a muppet PO.
One line directly from each carb to the petcock, no splitter T
If you run fuel from the tank through to a bucket one line will normally flow more, so people gerry rig stuff like this.
But the reality is once the float valve in either carb shuts off the flow the other carb gets increased flow if its valve is open and vice versa
