Hi, I have a 71 CB350 K3

I've been thinking -- is it possible to just get a brass valve that fits on the fuel tank threads and use it as a petcock? Would there be any issues? I'm not wanting to wait for one to ship and spend 40-50 bucks on it. I'm thinking that a brass valve and an adapter/ T on the end to run the fuel lines to the carbs would do the trick. Or would there be some issue with the fuel flowing too fast?

It will be difficult if not impossible to find metric threaded piping........and without a perfect seal at the joint, it WILL leak fuel....

Nope!.... That petcock HAS the correct metric threads... I was referring to a random "shut-off valve" cross threaded over the metric spigot.........
