Hey guys,

After I had the incident with the trackbike falling on the SeeBee, my left fork has been leaking a few drops of oil every so often. I think I need to rebuild them. I am trying to collect all the necessary parts beforehand so if you can, please list off what I need to purchase (and please provide links for what I need!)

Forks - from a 1974 CB450 K5-K7 to be mounted on a 1975 CB360T

I need:
1. New Fork Seals
CB450 '69-'73 - http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/fork_seals.htm
OR
http://www.oldbikebarn.com/Fork-Seal_2? ... gory=52243

2. I think I will take this opportunity to upgrade to tapered bearings
Item 1011 - http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/steeri ... a%20Models
OR
http://www.oldbikebarn.com/GL1000-CB750 ... gory=52243

3. ATF

4. Is there anything else I need? Any tools I need to buy?

OOO Also, if anyone has a source for

CVR, L. FR. *MRCR2* (CHROME PLATING) 51606-457-670XW
(Left headlight "ear" in chrome plating)

It would be greatly appreciated! The one I have is slightly crumpled and bent.

(Basically this except with an extra hole for the turn signal)

I'll check the parts shed for my old headlight ears but I think they were bent to bad to be used.. I'll post here if they're any good..

Also, can someone help me out and tell me what CB450 model forks I have? I am looking at the 450 and 500cc Twins service manual and there seems to be a few that would match it...

So I looked on eBay and there are fork oil seals and fork dust seals listed for my forks, but according to the parts fiche, there is no fork dust seal....right?

Your forks look like standard 73-74 CB450 forks to me. I'd just order everything for the 74 model if it were me. There were no changes between those years. The fork seals I got from Ebay but I bet Honda still stocks them. As for the fork "wipers" I bought a set from Ebay that were meant for CB750/CB500T that just stretch around the groove on top of the lower leg, to replace the accordian fork boots.. Otherwise you won't need them if you're going with the stock boots.

I still have to go look into those old headlight ears..
