Guys -

I'm working on a buddy's CB450 - looking for a lower cam chain roller, # 14630-292-000, the one that goes between the cylinders, down low.

I bought one from BikeBandit or some place just a couple months ago for about $10 - looks like I got the last one in the known universe, because it's now listed as NLA everywhere.

I found one place in France, but it's outrageously expensive.
I was hoping someone here might know of a source??

I'm amazed at how this part has suddenly fallen off the face of the earth, when I just got one for cheap a couple of months ago.........

That is odd. They were just available on Ebay (outragiously expensive but available) not two weeks ago. The seller even had around 10 of them available. Now they're all gone.

If I happen across anything I'll get ahold of you.

Yeah, that's the place from France I mentioned...

My guy is not able to plonk out that kind of cash for that part. that would be like $70 for the part, then add shipping - he just can't afford it.
Like most of us, he's broke, a teacher with 2 kids in college - I'm doing the work for free, just to help him out.

I finally found a source for this roller, at houseofhondaparts.com
Still a bit pricey, at $32 plus shipping, and he only has six left.
So if you need one (or think you may need one in the future), then you need to jump on this.

Not sure if my guy can afford it or not, but thought I'd pass it on.

They emailed me with that price today.
So if you ordered it, they would probably tell you there's an "adjustment".

I suppose it is pretty common for websites to "forget" to update their prices and quantities...
