OK - I need one final part for my 450 project.

I need the LEFT bolt that you screw the air cleaner (side cover) cover onto.
One end screws into the battery case, the other end receives the cover screw.

I bought a pair (I thought) on EBay, turns out they're both the long ones for the right side.
I need the shorter one for the left side.

I'd be willing to trade the other long one, trade for something in my stash of 750/450/400T/200 parts, or just give you some cash.

Please help me out here, I'm running out of weather here around Lake Michigan,

bill

On the short one off of my 74 model, I'm getting 3.8540in. The long one I'm getting 4.0595in.

My digital calipers are junk but that's not much of a difference to worry about.

By the way, the only difference in the bolts is the jarge hex area you'd use to tighten them to the battery box. It's longer on one. The real question is, what bolt is for what side??

Since I'm not using stock filters, the length of the hex portion doesn't matter to me.
Just the overall length, so the side cover mounts up properly.

Thanks....

Bill.....I've got an extra "short shouldered post" for the left side cover from my K6 donor and it's going out to you in today's mail. Thanks for the opportunity to help back. Best, Blue
