See other thread here https://www.hondatwins.net/forums/55-engine-discussion/123528-timing-help.html

I've done the installation according to the instructions and timed but I'm having issues with backfiring/afterburn which funnily I didn't have when I roughly fitted the sensor plate aligning with the notch in the plate. The issues only presented themselves after I timed the ignition with the stroboscope.

Is it possible I've mixed up the left and right signals and am firing 180degrees out? Is there a safe way to check this. My background is electrical not engines. My gut is to swap the HT leads but I don't want to do any damage.

Easy enough test to just swap the leads and no it won't do any damage if not ran like that for long durations.

Is the Pamco wiring close to the left plug wire? Too close and RFI from the high voltage in the plug wire will scramble the trigger signals.
