Hi Guys,
I'm in the process of rebuilding my '74 CB450. I'm having the tank and side covers painted black. The little plastic trim pieces that go around the bottom of the tank are toast. I was considering cutting off the tabs and just leaving the bottom lip bare of trim. I'm not sure if I like the look. Any ideas?

Try looking at an auto part or hardware store for similar plastic trim pieces, cut them to fit.

I looked around, but not very hard. Do you think trim like that is available? I checked NAPA, Autozone and my local hardware store.

Autozone. Look for automotive door edge trim. It's plastic "chrome" and might just be the ticket?
