PAINT /MASKING HELP

I'm having my tank and side covers from my CB450 painted red per the pic, painter is asking if there is a template or any dimensional info out there to locate the gold "stripe" at the top of the tank. I have some decals bought to trace the shape for masking, but any help on a more exact location of them would be great.
