Hi all. Could anyone tell me what socket size I need or tube inside dia to make a tool for removing the nut with the 4 opposing slots which holds the filter body onto the end of the crankshaft.

I bought this tool, but I can't remember off hand where from.

EDIT It might have been a left over from my monkey bike days, think the oil spinner nut on those engines is similar to the 175 one.

Comparing it with sockets in my tool box, it looks as though a 22mm socket is the closest match. The actual tool is 30mm in diameter, with a 5mm wall thickness ie 20mm diam central hole.

I used the tool with my Clarke electric rattle gun, which span the nut off instantly, but also bent the prongs on the tool !
