Just recently purchased a 1974 cl200 and was wondering what a good oil would be for this bike. Dipstick cap says 10w-40. Also I need a manual while working on this bike. I found some links on here for manuals but when opened they are no longer available

This is your Lucky Day! I have a copy of the service manual and owners manual for the CL200!
I have a CB200t which uses the same manual as the CB200 and CL200. They are basically the exact same bike except for some cosmetics and where the mufflers are placed.
I can email them to you if I can figure out how to private message you.
If anyone else is looking for this I can send them one also.

BTW - While you have your oil drained you should take the left side case off and clean out the Oil Filter. It is a centrifuge filter. I recently got my CB200t and the filter was filled with sludge.

There's a copy in the library, PM sent
Use 10-40W oil that is JASO MA rated. This is a wet clutch motorcycle oil rating. I use Castrol 4T in all of mine and it's available at auto parts stores and some Walmarts
