Which is better?

If this is too broad of a topic due to differences in years, materials etc., forgive my ignorance. This pertains directly to my 82' CB450SC, but I thought if there were some basic guide lines for buying friction plates, it might be helpful to others.

For a 25+ year old relatively low performance machine, I'd go with whatever is the least expensive.

I can't imagine there'd be any significant difference. I mean, you're not trying to handle drag racing like, say, on a Suzuki GS1100E....

Just my two cents.

happy with my Barnett plates, 120 for a whole set steels and friction plates 14 in all pretty competitive with new stock parts

I only use EBC Clutch and brake parts, period.
