Hi all,

I have just bought my first restoration project and look forward to benefiting from the advice and experience of the members of this forum.

My bike is a 1965 Honda cb450 which I hope to restore to its former glory myself as much as possible.

Until I work out how to update my details mentioned in the "new members please read" post ill add them here.

Location: Western Australia
Model: 1965 cb450 k0

Black Bomber

You would be surprised what one like that, with that style seat, sold for at auction In Las Vegas, Nevada this past week. Of course, the bikes offered there were of showroom quality. I think there were 1750 motorcycles sold and some of the prices went straight to the stratosphere. A 72 CL450 went for $6000.00. A 1971 CL for $2900.00.
A 1969 CB450, modified, and sold for a charity donation went for $5250.00. A 1965 Black Bomber went for $7000.00.
